Acts Leadership College is a vibrant theology and leadership college with the heart to raise up leaders of all ages through biblically sound, character-based training.
ALC was birthed in 2020 from Ps Steve Mazey's simple desire to train and equip leaders within the local church. What started out as a small classroom of first-year students has now become a flourishing college producing many anointed and gifted graduates, spread out over three campuses and three qualifications.
We partner with Planetshakers College, accredited by the Australian University College of Divinity, to produce world-class content in an environment of encounter and discipleship. We offer three levels of government-certified qualifications that we believe will lay a biblically sound foundation for any student who is interested in leadership, ministry, theology, or simply growing stronger in their faith.
In our Student Prospectus (see below), you'll receive further information on our Diploma, Associate Degree and Bachelor of Arts degrees that we offer. ALC is currently in its 6th year of running and has seen 40+ students complete their Diploma, 17 students complete their Associate Degree, and 4 students complete their Bachelor’s Degree, alongside 30+ current students well on their way to completing their college experience and qualifications.
We offer an internship program that is written into the college curriculum to cater for the practical side of ministry, and hope the structure that we have designed will be a blessing to your church.
By the end of this course you will have:
Read through the entire Bible
Developed a dynamic and intimate relationship with God
Established fundamental knowledge in Biblical Studies and Christian Theology
Gained mastery in personal and organisational leadership principles
Practiced experiential leadership within your chosen stream (Full time students only)
Upon completion of the Associate Degree of Theology & Ministry, you will have:
• Undertaken a survey of the History of Christianity
• Understood the principles of Biblical Interpretation
• Applied principles of Christian Discipline in your personal life
• Considered the application of Christian Ethics in the wider community
• Undertaken an exegetical survey of the Epistle to the Roman Church
• Explored the centrality of Jesus Christ and His Salvific role in Scripture
The Bachelor of Theology consolidates your Biblical and theological studies with units in Christian Apologetics, New Testament Greek and the exegesis of several New Testament books. The course prepares you for vocational ministry in a role that requires preaching and teaching. Students in the Bachelor of Theology program are invited to participate in many Acts Global Churches conferences and gatherings around Australia.
The Bachelor of Chaplaincy offers units in Personal Transformation, Pastoral & Spiritual Care, Mental Health Response and an Introduction to Pastoral Ministry & Theology. You will receive training in advanced pastoral ministry practices, preparing you for leading ministry roles in and out of the context of the local Church. Those who have completed this degree will also be professionally qualified to work in Chaplaincy positions. Students in the Bachelor of Ministry program are invited to participate in many Acts Global Churches conferences and gatherings around Australia.
